Thinstall is a client-less application virtualization solution that allows applications to be packaged into simple EXE files that run in user-mode isolated from the host PC without installation or changes to the local desktop's registry and file system.
"Thinstalled" applications can run on locked-down PCs with no device drivers installed enabling administrators to maintain a secure, clean, and stable user desktop.
Thinstall has over 400 customers deploying applications to millions of desktops around the world. Customers include GE, the US Department of Defense, Qualcomm, Lucent, Northrop Grumman, Morgan Stanley, T-Systems, and Abbott Labs.

Instructions
1. Install "ThinstallVS_latest.msi" and dont do anything with the "ThinstallPatch.exe" yet.
2. Go to the Start Menu and select Thinstall Virtualization Suite\SetupCapture.
At this point you will notice that you will get the "runtime license has expired". Close that prompt if it doesnt close itself.
3. Now run the "ThinstallPatch.exe" from whaterver location you have it in.
4. You will have to locate each one of these files using the "ThinstallPatch.exe" within the
C:\Program Files\Thinstall.VS
And patch the following "7" files with all options selected from within the "ThinstallPatch.exe".
Disable Time check, Disable Load Indication, Disable EULA, Make backup
dll_dump.exe
log_monitor.exe
SetupCapture.exe
snapshot.exe
tlink.exe
vftool.exe
vregtool.exe
4. Go to the Start Menu and select Thinstall Virtualization Suite\SetupCapture.
You should not see the "runtime license has expired" thin come up.
5. Get the application you want to INstall ready. DOnt run it yet.
6. Since you have "Thinstall Setup Capture" running. Hit the "Start" button.
7. Hit the "Pre-INstall Scan" Button. It will scan and do its thing before you install the application you want to convert to thinstall.
8. The next prompt asks you to Install the Program you want. Read the text in the prompt. Go ahead
and install the program you want.
9. After the install of the program. If the program you are installing wants to reboot the computer,
go ahead and let it restart it. The capture will resume after restart.
10. After you set the installed Program the way you want.
11. Go to te "Thinstall Setup Capture" and select the "Post-Install Scan" button.
12. Choose the default location to save the Results or tell it where you want them saved.
The default "Save Results" settings are "C:\Program Files\Thinstall.VS\Captures\NAME OF APPLICATION"
13. Select "Save Results" button.
14. Hit the Quit button.
15. GO to the "C:\Program Files\Thinstall.VS\Captures\NAME OF APPLICATION" or where you saved the results to.
16. DOuble click the "build.bat" to create the Thinstalled App.
Bad thing is that it gives a message about "runtime license has expired" and it wont let you create the THinstall exe for the application you want.
